Purchasing a firearm online (or in person for that matter) is not as simple as picking a gun and adding it to your cart. To purchase a firearm you must pass a background check, you must have an FFL dealer that we can transfer the firearm to and you must be shipping it to a state without firearm restrictions. The process can seem overwhelming, but we want to make it as simple and streamlined as we can. So for all the information you need to purchase a firearm check out our How To Purchase A Firearm page.
If your are having trouble adding a firearm to your shopping cart, be sure you have filled out all the required fields completely and that we have the gun in stock. If you were able to place an order for a firearm and that order has since been canceled it is likely that you were attempting to ship the firearm to a restricted state, the FFL dealer you chose refused to do the transfer, you did not have the appropriate credentials for your firearm of choice, or there was an issue with your background check. In the tactical market there are some products that can't be shipped to certain states, due to state law or manufacturer's request. There are certain products that can't be shipped internationally due to export regulations. There are also certain items that can only be sold to members of the military, law enforcement or government agency due to manufacturer or company policy. Though we cannot list each individual restricted item here the major categories where you will find items with restrictions are: firearms, knives, night vision, body armor, ammunition, gun parts, and weapon's accessories.
This is most likely because of one of two reasons. Reason one, the product is out of stock. Though we do our best to keep our shelves full, there will be times we run of out of a particular product. We leave the product up on our site so that you know we do carry it and intend on getting it back in stock shortly. If this is the case we recommend you create a wish list to save the item there so you can check to see if it has come back in stock. Reason two, product restriction. There are certain products we carry that we are not allowed to ship outside the U.S. There are also products we carry that we are not allowed to ship to certain states within the U.S. These products have their restrictions listed in their descriptions.
If you made your purchase using your Casual Tactical account you can always check the status of your order on your Order Status page. By clicking to view the order details you can see when your order was placed what is on your order, if we have shipped it, which carrier was used and your tracking number if it has been shipped. With that information you can visit the carriers website and track your package. Casual Tactical sends an email to the address we have on file each time the status of your order has changed up to and including when it ships. If you are not receiving these emails we suggest you check your junk/spam folder and add email@example.com your approved email list. If you made your purchase at Casual Tactical as a guest shopper and have not received any status update emails from us, you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to get the status of your order. Please be sure to include your order number in your email.

Very rarely will we ever cancel an order without first contacting you about it, but there are exceptions. If this has happened to you it is likely because A) you have attempted to ship a firearm or restricted product to a state/county where it is not allowed or B) we have reason to believe that the order was not placed by, or on behalf of, the credit card holder. No, we do not back order merchandise. Everything we sell is on a "first come, first serve" basis. On occasion, in the case of high-demand firearms, we will make exception and allow "waiting list" orders to be placed. If you would like to purchase a firearm we do not have in stock and you believe it falls into the the "high-demand" category please contact email@example.com to make accommodations.
We do our best to offer you products that are currently available for purchase, but due to supply and demand, there will be times that we show products out of stock. We receive shipments daily and ask that you check back (on the product page) to see if an item is back in stock. At this time we do not offer a notification system for when items are back in stock.
Casual Tactical does not offer any warranty on the products we sell, but many of the manufacturers we carry do. If you have an issue with a product that you feel falls within the scope of warranty we suggest you contact the manufacturer directly. If you need help with getting contact information for a manufacturer we will be happy to help with that. In regards to Casual Tactical products, we offer a 30 day return policy on any used product that is determined to have failed due to defect. If you receive a package in which the contents are damaged, defective, not what you ordered, or there is a shortage in quantity please contact us immediately. You have 7 days from the time you receive the package to inform us of damage, defect, incorrect or shorted product. You may call us at 801.872.9602 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please be sure to have your order number available and/or include it in any correspondence. We will work to get any problem corrected as soon as possible. Please note: often times pictures can help eliminate confusion and expedite corrections. If you are able, and it is appropriate to do so, please include a picture of the problem in your email correspondence.
If you need to make a return you have 30 days to do so, with the exception of firearms and clearance, in which case all sales are final. If you made your purchase using your account with Casual Tactical go to your My Account page and click on the link for Completed Orders in the left navigation. Each completed order has a Return Items link next to it. Click that link and use the Returns page to request an RMA. After you have filled out and submitted the request you will get instructions on how to proceed with your return. To create a wish list you must have an account with Casual Tactical. You can create an account by clicking here. Once you have an account you can create a wish list simply by clicking the "Add To Wish list" button on the products you want, but are not ready to purchase. To share your wish list with others go to your My Account page and click on the wish list link in the left navigation panel. You will see your wish list come up on the page. Click the arrow under the action column and it will reveal a URL link that you can copy and share with your family and friends.
Yes, we do offer gift certificates for Casual Tactical in any denomination starting at $1 going to $1000. At this time our gift certificates can only be used for online purchases. To purchase a gift certificate click here.
Add the items you want to purchase to your shopping cart. When you are ready to check out click the link to view your shopping cart (in the top right corner of the web page). At the bottom of the shopping cart page there is a place for you to enter your gift certificate code. If the value of your gift certificate is more than your purchase, the remaining balance will be available for you to use. Alternatively, if you click the proceed to check out button and bypass the shopping cart page you can still use your gift certificate. On the Secure Checkout page, in Step 4: Order Confirmation, there is a code box where you can enter your gift certificate code. The same rules apply to gift certificate balances and uses regardless of which method you use.
